Are you in pursuit of your 200 hour certification? Perhaps you want to make great part-time money doing something that you love and sharing it with others?

Maybe you are interested in enhancing your personal practice by learning more about the science and history of yoga, and the many ways it can enrich your life. If so, your journey can begin now!

We have trained many teachers and studio owners in the greater Jacksonville area and throughout the USA. You can find them locally at M Body Yoga, Peaceful Yoga, Yoga Fusion, Bliss Yoga, Mindful Motion Yoga, Yoga Life and many gyms and fitness centers.

While many schools focus on either the gentle or athletic traditions of yoga, our students graduate with the knowledge to teach Yoga Basics, Mind Body and Power Vinyasa classes, covering every fitness level. The first Registered Yoga School in Jacksonville, Yoga Den has been offering teachers the tools to instruct a variety of classes to enhance marketability, and we strive to place those wanting to teach with our many friends in the community.

Well aware of the fact that many want to come through the program to enhance their own practice, with no desire to teach, we do not require a certain level of experience for practice. Our philosophy is that there is no better way to learn about the amazing practice of yoga than to take such a comprehensive course. We have also seen many strong bonds of friendship formed, confidence levels soar and people looking for physical, psychological and emotional healing heal. Those wanting self study make wonderful students for those wanting to teach when we get to the actual practice teaching portion of the course, and many students find they want to participate for a sense of self achievement. We honor everyone's path, and hold strong to a "no judgment" attitude.

In January of 2007, in addition to our weekend and intensive training programs, Yoga Den started offering a convenient, flexible and cost efficient way to obtain your 200 hour teaching certification, to receive continuing education credits, and/or to work toward your 500 hour certification, all recognized by the Yoga Alliance. With Modular weekend training courses, 3 hour to full day workshops, and practice time at the studio, students will enjoy an affordable way to train at their own pace, with the ability to choose what is necessary to complete their studies. Modules can be taken out of order, if needed. If you enjoy yoga, but have no desire to teach, these workshops can enhance your personal practice, and will be open for all of those who wish to attend.
