Evie Czerkawski

As a Western-trained physician I am excited to share the benefits of the eastern approach to healing and disease prevention through the practice of yoga. While there are many benefits to western medicine, most of it uses a “whack-a-mole” approach, offering quick fixes without addressing the root of a person’s dis-ease. Individuals have a great ability to heal themselves, but each must first be seen as a whole. I believe that through an ongoing, safe, and diligent practice of the eight limbs of yoga, one can hold great hope for the mind, body, and spirit to reconnect into a healed whole.
