Happy Hearts Family & Kids Yoga

Happy Hearts Family Yoga Class, a delightful class where parents and children embark on a shared journey of well-being!  Through playful poses and calming breaths, families create a harmonious space for health, happiness, and togetherness.

Happy Hearts Yoga Kids Yoga Class, a joyful journey where yoga postures, mindful movement games, and calming breathwork blend for holistic well-being! Led by caring instructors, this inclusive class fosters self-awareness and positivity. Join us in cultivating a lighter heart, a clearer mind, and a joyful spirit.

Hot Flow Yin

An energetic and mindful vinyasa flow to warm the body and build strength followed by grounding shapes held for 2 to 5 minutes in order to release the fascia and connective tissue surrounding targeted muscle groups.  

First 30 minutes of class is heated and powerful. We work on building muscle through repetitive strengthening movements. The last 30 minutes of class we cool down the room and the movements. With our muscles still warm we stretch what we just worked for long holds to get deep into the body tissue. These holding postures are a great way to become comfortable with stillness and calm energy. This is two classes in one! Both strength and stretch. 

Recommended for students comfortable with heat and fast movements. 

Room Temperature: Avg 90 degrees when heated.

Memorial Park Yoga

Free community yoga presented by Yoga Den Avondale and the Memorial Park Association.

First Sundays 9:30am

All levels class. Bring your mat, towel and water.

Mind Body

This practice is static in nature and provides ample time to explore a safe alignment and gain a deep stretch while maintaining an awareness of breath. Variations are offered for different levels of strength, flexibility, and any other needs. 

Great for beginners! Also wonderful for advanced yogis wanting to slow down the practice and spend more time stretching than strengthening. 

All our Mind Body yoga instructors are pre- and post-natal certified. This class is safe during pregnancy with doctor’s permission. Please inform the instructor before class how far along you are.

Mixed Level

This static practice offers variations of differing levels of intensity. This gives each individual the opportunity to customize their experience. This class is perfect for those looking to expand their knowledge of yoga! 

With more movement than our typical beginner classes, this is a great place to take the next step.

Monthly Crystal Bowl Sound Bath

Join us for a unique & gentle rejuvenating experience, targeting the physical, mental & emotional bodies.

This one-of-kind experience includes restorative reclining yogic postures, crystal sound bowls, healing reiki energy & guided meditation.

 No yoga experience necessary.

Slow Flow Yin

Sun Power

A high energy, high sweat practice with dynamic flows and held postures. An eclectic blend of traditional and post-traditional perspectives where each teacher puts their own creative spin into sequencing and playlists. This class will stretch, strengthen and detox the entire body.

Sun Power Flow

This high energy class offers more flow and movement than Sun Power Yoga. Similar to Bhakti Power, static sequences may be repeated vinyasa-style with appropriate breath cues. However, unlike Bhakti Power, precise and even rhythmic breath cues are not necessarily offered or encouraged as this is more of a free-style flow class.

Sun Power Yoga Fit

This strength-based yoga practice is guaranteed to make you sweat, stretch, and sculpt muscles. Add in high energy music and a cooling savasana at the end and you are sure to leave feeling ready to take on the rest of your day!

Oh we are gonna kick your butt in this class! Enjoy the sweat and challenge.

Yin Restorative

Yogis choice. Are you looking for more Yin or more Restorative? How deep you go is up to you. Come enjoy mental and physical relaxation as you nourish your muscles, connective tissues and joints.

Yin Yoga

A special practice designed to improve flexibility, energy flow and range of motion by targeting the connective tissues of the body in a very controlled practice. Yin Yoga is the perfect complement to any dynamic yoga practice and also benefits athletes of all types in terms of injury prevention. Over time, the practice of Yin Yoga can lengthen these tissues, increasing range of motion.

Postures are held for 2 to 5 minutes in order to release the fascia and connective tissues surrounding the muscles.

Yogalates

Yogalates is a mixture of Pilates and yoga. You will get a workout that increases core strength and improves posture, whilst increasing flexibility and reducing stiffness. The Pilates exercises are aimed at strengthening the core abdominal muscles, which support the spine and assist in good posture.This class has an option to use light weights (1-3lbs each) provided by the studio. 

 We offer modifications and options for everyone. Fun and challenging while still being safe and effective.
