Sandra

sandra yoga den mandarinSandra’s yoga journey began in 1999; thinking it was just another workout. To her surprise, she discovered the physical and mental benefits of practicing yoga, which was centered around the breath. This connected Sandra to a deeper sense of self awareness and calmness on and off the mat.

Sandra has been an instructor and forever student with the Yoga Den family since 2009, where she received her 500 RYT. She loves combining music with energetic flows in both her Power Vinyasa and Bhakti classes. Just breathe and flow, trusting in your own inner wisdom!

Wendy

Wendy has been deeply committed to fitness all of her life. It was in Melbourne, Australia where she lived for ten years that she first encountered yoga, and quickly grew to love it. After moving back to the States she continued to practice, and then decided to instruct, blending her passion for practice with her career. She is a Yoga Den 500 Hour RYT, and also has certifications in pilates mat and the pilates reformer, as well as being a personal trainer. She specializes in blending yoga with pilates. Her classes are a fun powerful fusion of both disciplines.

Emilie

emilee yoga den mandarinI am an E-RYT 500 and have been teaching Yoga for 10 years now, approaching 4700 hours of teaching experience. I teach 12 times a week in varying styles including chair yoga to those who have suffered from TBI (traumatic brain injury). I worked as a computer programmer for 10 years and left that career to stay home with my children though I am almost an empty nester! I love dance and music which helps me to hear the rhythm, to be able to move and breathe to the beat which I love to do.

I often play and sing with my ukulele or harmonium in my classes. I have a strong mediation practice and have attended several retreats including two 10 day silent vipassana courses as well as serving a 3 day silent course. I love sharing all of this with my students and I am a forever student myself as I keep up a personal practice, read and study and continue to attend teacher training. I am honored and humbled to be able to teach Yoga.

Jason

Jason began practicing yoga over a decade ago. Inspired by his own journey and the amazing teachers he’s had along the way, Jason made the decision to become a teacher in 2022 and hopes to bring the same happiness and good vibes to others. Though he loves and appreciates all forms of the practice, he has found his deepest connection with Bhakti and vinyasa flow. During class, his music choices are intentional – the cadence of Reggae inspired, feel-good songs beckon and align with Ujjayi, ocean breathing. By aligning music, movement and breath, Jason hopes to create an atmosphere of harmony, bringing people together and allowing students to sense into their own connectedness. Yoga means “unity”, and Jason strives to deliver that feeling in each and every class.
